The NBLU Program is specifically designed for second year nephrology fellows. If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact us here.
Additionally, the daily functions of the program are of a business nature and are not suitable for spouses or children. If participants elect to bring spouses or other family members, please not that only participant expenses will be covered by the travel grant. Any additional fees incurred for non-participants will be the sole responsibility of the participant. There are two social functions associated with the program where spouses are welcome.
There is no registration fee to attend the NBLU program. Additionally, a travel grant is provided to participants for associated travel costs.
The travel grant participants received on the final day of the event should be sufficient to cover airline travel, airport transportation, and the few meals not included during the program.
Participants are responsible for making their own airline reservations and encouraged to book an economy class fare to ensure the costs are covered in full by the travel grant. Airline reservations must be confirmed at least _____ days before the program begins.
Participants are required to arrive for check-in one day prior to the course start and can depart any time after 12:30pm on the final day of the course.
Hotel arrangements will be made by NBLU. However, participants must provide a credit card upon check-in to cover all incidental charges that may incur during their stay.
Local participants will receive a local travel grant to cover their transportation costs. While local attendees are not required to stay in the designated hotel, it is strongly encouraged as meetings start early in addition to planned evening events.
Please be sure to attend all meetings and planned events, as partial participation may result in a reduction in the travel grant.
