About NBLU

Launched in 2016 by U.S. Renal Care, the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, and Dallas Renal Group, Nephrology Business Leadership is a unique week-long program tailored to second year nephrology fellows preparing to begin a career in nephrology.

The program is designed to provide nephrology fellows with an opportunity to complement the clinical skills gained through their fellowship program with learning modules focused on the economics and business aspects of private practice.

NBLU brings together a diverse group of practicing nephrologists, hospital and dialysis provider executives, and other professionals who share their insights with fellows on leadership and advocacy in medicine.  This is a very hands-on, interactive program by design.

Attendees will leave the NBLU program with a stronger understanding of the business of nephrology, and how it fits into the complex and evolving healthcare landscape.
